Max Media Player · last updated 29 August 2026
This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the Max Media Player mobile and TV app. It is published by Max Media Player (“we”), who you can reach at [email protected].
Max Media Player has no user accounts and no servers of ours. We do not collect, receive or store your playlists, your provider credentials, what you watch, or any other personal information. It stays on your device. The only data that leaves your device goes either to the streaming provider you chose, or to Google’s advertising service in the free version.
The following is written to your device’s local storage and is never transmitted to us:
Deleting the app removes all of it. You can also clear it from within the app under Settings → Storage.
| Your streaming provider | When you add a playlist, the app contacts the address you supplied and sends whatever credentials you entered, so it can fetch your channels and streams. That provider is chosen by you and is not connected to us; how they handle your data is governed by their own policy, not this one. |
|---|---|
| Google AdMob | The free version shows a rewarded advertisement to unlock the app. To serve it, Google receives your device’s advertising identifier, approximate location derived from your IP address, and basic device and app information. Google’s handling is described at business.safety.google/privacy. A paid subscription removes advertising entirely. |
| Apple / Google Play | Subscriptions are processed by the app store you installed from. We never see or handle your payment details; the store tells the app only whether a valid subscription exists. |
There is no analytics, crash reporting or tracking software of any kind in this app.
If you are in these regions, the app asks for your consent before requesting any advertisement, using Google’s certified consent platform. Nothing is requested until you answer. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time under Settings → Ad privacy choices. Where we rely on consent, that consent is the legal basis; withdrawing it does not affect anything processed beforehand.
Max Media Player is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age where you live). The app contains a parental control PIN, but that is a local feature and sends nothing to us.
Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to retrieve, correct or erase on your behalf โ the data is under your control on your own device, and uninstalling the app deletes it. For the advertising identifier held by Google, use your device’s own privacy settings to reset or limit it, and the in-app consent controls described above.
If you are in the EEA or the UK you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Data on your device is protected by your device’s own storage protections. Connections to
your provider use whatever the provider supports: many IPTV services are only reachable over
plain http, which the app permits so those services work, but such traffic is not
encrypted in transit. Prefer an https provider where you have the choice.
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the revised policy.
